I'm a dreamer, a wanderer and a believer. My love and passion for the outdoors for me started at a young age. Growing up my family really didn't have a lot of money. Our summer vacations weren't to Florida (I've never seen the Ocean). They were a weekend of camping, a day trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula or spent on the shores of Lake Michigan. When I was old enough I joined the Boy Scouts of America. Once a month we would do a camping trip. It was on these various outings where I learned basic wilderness survival, being able to identify flora and fauna and my favorite star-gazing. I look at myself now and not much has changed except the facial hair I have growing on my face and the few grey hairs that have rooted themselves to me. On clear nights I still find myself looking up into the night sky. Finding the big dipper, watching meteors streak across the sky. Let's not forget who we are as a person, once that's gone you become something you're not.
